The wife to the Executive Chairman of Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State,Josephine Jonathan Okuba Addra has appeal to the womenfolk to be serious with their hygiene on daily bases.
She stated this during the distribution exercise by the Chairman, Honorable Jonathan Okuba Addra at the white house at the weekend.
The first lady urges the womenfolk to place greatest premium on personal hygiene so as to prevent themselves during menstrual period.
According to her”Some of our women wore the sanitary pads and reused later in the day again”.
Adding that it should be used once and thrown away after use but not to be repeated again by women.
The Executive Chairman distributed chuck of sanitary pads as part of Renewed Hope effort to the beneficiaries,other items also include wrappers ,cash of N50,000 to twenty women while 10 men benefited with 10 motorcycles.
