Why 21 Plateau Assembly Members Sacked By Court Cannot Vote As Delegates At Zonal Congress-Hon. Domle

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Southern Senatorial District Zonal Chairman, Hon.Simon Domle has expressed satisfaction with the sacrifice of the state chapter on the peaceful conduct by the delegates of the North-Central geopolitical zone on their Zonal Congress.
Addressing journalists on the aftermath of the Congress in Jos ,Hon.Simon Domle said that the exercise was very good and commendable sincerely , we appreciate God Almighty for what he has done to Plateau State for allowing them to conduct a hitch-free PDP Zonal Congress.
He stated that the delegates’ election went on very successfully, everything was smooth and rancour-free with the adoption of consensus candidates in all the positions contested.
Hon . Simon Domle stressed that out of the 100 delegates scheduled to participate in the voting, only 21 of them can’t vote owning to the Justice Monica D. Judgement of the Appeal court, which denied the PDP in the state.
He pointed out that the aim of stopping them was to prevent evil people from coming to take advantage of any loophole, the state House of assembly members whose right were quashed.
Adding , that these are some of the reasons for not allowing them to participate in the Zonal Congress,we don’t want a situation where someone will illegally file a suit to distrust the peaceful Congress that was done under a conducive atmosphere.
We really thank God for the life of Prof.Mary Lar as we believe that God has protected her life to this old age by giving her long life because our father who has been called by God and is now sitting at the right side of Jesus Christ.
He disclosed that Baba Solomon Lar brought them into politics and they are gradually training the younger politicians to learn by imbibing the spirit of tolerance and dedication .
Domle lauded the achievement of Prof. Mary Lar in building grassroots democracy and ensuring that the some and daughters of a common man actively participate in voting for the leaders of their choice.
She advised late Chief Solomon Lar by supporting his dreams and aspirations to the position of governance so our God is a loving God .
Simon explained further that they acquired knowledge of politics from them and we shall pass that leadership footprint to the next generation of politicians.
However, the Chairman of the Congress,Barr.Tanimu Turaki ,SAN ,says Plateau State would have 21 delegates who might not participate in the voting for the PDP Zonal Congress.
The delegates were identified as the members of the state assembly that were sacked by the Appeal court judgement .
