The newly elected South East All Progressives Congress, APC, Leader For Special Citizens, Hon. Dr. Stanley Nwachukwu, has stated that his members massively joined the party so as to produce the next President of Nigeria from Igboland.
A few days after they concluded APC National Convention that was held in Abuja, Dr.Nwachukwu, who spoke to journalists in Owerri, thanked God for his successful emergence as the APC Zonal Leader, even as he promised to use his position to galvanize support for Igbo indigenous president of Nigeria.
He, therefore, expressed satisfaction with the heights of political successes so far recorded by APC, as he thanked President Mohammadu Buhari over the 5-percent-slots enshrined for Physically Challenged Persons.
The leadership breakthroughs of the party were courtesy of the immediate past leaders of the party in the country, who happily supported the current leadership of the party to strive ahead of the 2023 general polls.
However, in the consensus list of the All Progressives Congress (APC), there were so many names of those who now obviously formed the National Working Committee (NEC) of the ruling party-APC”, he said.
Recalled that a total of 76 names were on board as national leaders of APC and one of the successfully shortlisted candidates, now a leader of the party on his new position installed as the APC Zonal Leader of Persons With Disability in South East, Hon.Chief Dr. Stanley Chinedu Nwachukwu, from Imo State.
Nwachukwu, until his current political elevation as the newly elected APC southeast leader, is also the Southeast Zonal Leader of Persons Living With Disabilities, PLWD, and the Chairman, Joint National Association of Persons Living With Disabilities, JONAPLWD.
The APC Zonal Special Leader further commended the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma over the reconstruction of the quality road network in the State assuring him of their total support.
