We Got No Dime From Okorocha, Ihedioha Inauguration Committee Boasts

The 2019 Ihedioha’s Inauguration/Handover Committee Chairman,Chief Barr.Sir.Chris Okewulonu,on Saturday May 25th 2019,expressively revealed to newsmen in Imo State that the allegedly released of N150 million  to the incoming governor to assist him in the inauguration planning  exercise is false.

 

He made this assertion during an interactive section with cross section of group Imo Journalists in the at the Ihedioha’s campaign office located at 4040 Night Club Arena New Owerri of the State,on Saturday 25th May,2019.

 

According to him,no single amount of money (no dime) was ever released to them or anybody else who is part of incoming government of Hon.Emeka Ihedioha.

 

” We are indeed  piqued at futile attempts by some busy bodies to take undeserved glory for the wonderful  achievements of the incoming governor has recorded even before assumptions of office”,he said.

 

 

Chief Okewulonu,further revealed that it was only thrice they have met with outgoing government’s team,believing that issues agreed upon will be strictly adhered to in their implementation. But unfortunately,reverse proved to be the case.

 

“Rather we,have taken note of deliberate attempts by some hirelings to blackmail the incoming governor with baseless  and spurious assertions”,he affirmed.

 

He further rolled out the line up of activities for Imolities should expect during this week for a successful hand over ceremony  which is as follows,the events will begin with on Sunday 26th May,2019 with an Inter-denominational church service at grasshoppers international Handball Stadium,Owerri by 12pm on Monday 27th May,2019 Art Exhibition at Ahiajoku Convention Center by 11am same day Noverty Football Match by 4pm at the Dan Anyiam Stadium,Owerri,Tuesday,28th May,2019,  Inauguration lecture at Ahiajoku Convention Center by 10 am and Mega Youth Concert at the Grasshoppers International Handball Stadium by 4pm.

 

On the main day,May 29th 2019,the Swearing of the Governor-Elect,Hon.Emeka Ihedioha and his Deputy.Hon.Engr.Gerald Irona,at the Dan Anyiam  Stadium by 9am,which after there will be a State Banquet at Ahaijoku Convention Center by 6pm.

 

“I therefore,wish to state without equivocation,that we are ready for the May 29th,2019 Inauguration of Emeka Ihedioha as their 6th Executive Governor of Imo State.  The Central Planning  Committee as well as it various Sub-committes have worked assiduously to organize a seamless inauguration ceremony”he asserted.
