Honorable Yusuf  Aliyu Turaki,The executive chairman of Awe Local Government has attested that his Local Government has embarked on projects that has a direct  impact on the lives of the people, The chairman gave the indication in an interview marking his seven months in office today Friday 24/10/2014.
The chairman buttressed that he prospered in turning round the Local, Some of the projects accomplished, According to the chairman include the construction 10 boreholes at the tune of N380, 000 each.
Aliyu opined that the Local Government procured 40 electric poles, He also said the council rehabilitate part of the Local Government secretariat as well procured furnitures,He in addition maintained that the renovation work under his office was extended to  Sangarin Awe’s palace.
“I rehabilitate three man’s quarters’ in the palace, I also connect a village to the national grid”.
 The council boss said the council in her concerted effort to tackle the shortage of logistic to elective officers  has procured 2 brand new  406 car to the tune of N3m,He further affirmed that the vehicles cost N1.5m each.
While fielding question over the nonpayment of workers salary, A situation that has caused untold hardship to workers at the third tier of government, “On the issue of payment of staff salary we don’t any obstacle.
“Our staff salary is intact, and we succeeded in disengaging  some workers employed  under the Youth Protection of the past regime,The predicament of some of the Local Government can be attributed to the presence of illegal workers”, He added Awe Local Government pay workers salary without any itches.
Honorable Yusuf Aliyu commenting on the security challenging ranging reprisal attack in Awe and its neighborhoods, The chairman maintained that the council has succeeded in combating the rising spate of insurgency, I fulfilled my covenant with the people of Awe by ending wanton killings in the state

“The only menace yet to be tackle is the intensifying spate of armed robbery along Obi-Awe road and we are on top of the situation, said Honorable Aliyu
