We Dissociate Ourselves From Any Legal Action Against Any Politician In Bauchi-NUBASS

The attention of the national union of Bauchi State Students under the able leadership of Comrade Nasiru Nuhu Cigari has been drawn to publication made by some section of the media by some unscrupulous elements that are on a lifetime contract of disturbing the relative peace enjoyed within the students’ cycle.

The group led by One Musa Muhammad Jibrin, a failed NUBASS presidential aspirant cum graduate of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, lunched a smear campaign of calumny against the leadership of National Union of Bauchi State Students on the page of leadership newspaper online published on the 13/02/2017.

In their desperate mission to wreak havoc and destroy the peaceful relationship that exists between the students and other external bodies, the group of fabricators was sponsored by desperate politicians that hide under the guise of NUBASS to cover their underperformance.

The impostors are nothing short of Political prostitutes that’s dreamt power by hook or crook. Their attempts to truncate and sabotage our collective efforts of salvaging the fate of Bauchi State Students against the clutches of misrule will never yield any Fruitful results. Their relationship with those politicians as such, has further confirmed our earlier assertions as contained in a group photograph of the impostors waving hands in the air in their usual show of sycophancy to those in Power. The attitudes shows clearly how they are acting inversely to the ideals of the union and caught red handed in political vendetta.

It’s pathetic the press statement is coming from people whom as acclaimed pressure group already sold out to the government. Remote controlled by Petty politicians. Conversely, all the accusations as contained in the release is just a complete irony of what the attitudes of the accusers. As such, those impostors lack the moral grounds to point fingers to others. We are not amazed by their acts, we expected such from them. As such this the only way they can earn for survival.

For the records, our relationship with those external philanthropists has already created a synergy of understanding between us, this has already prompted excellent results as the union has already striked a deal with a donor agency with regards to improving the welfare of students. And we are ever ready to liaise with individuals, philanthropists, government, NGOs and other cooperate bodies with a view of improving the students welfare.

To our ever supportive students, we are not unaware of your conditions. We are aware of how you were neglected and your welfare abandoned. We knew how you study under debts. We are conscious of the stranded and neglected Bauchi State Students in foreign countries. We can assure you that very soon your tribulations will become history and you shall smile again.

We categorically state that, we are unconnected with any sort of political vendettas. We are fully non-partisan and completely committed to serving the over 1.5 million students of Bauchi State irrespective of  religious, regional,  ethnic or political affiliations.

Conclusively, we are dissociating ourselves from taking any legal action against any politician; we are calling on the general public to disregard the media publication being circulated as it was not the hand work of NUBASS. In addition the impostors will face the severe wrath of the law. While wishing our students continuous success we are urging them to be law abiding and remain steadfast in the course of their academic pursuit.
