Jigawa State APC Ward Congress Committee Chairman has debunked any rumor of consensus candidate during the Ward Congress in the State.
The chairman of Congress committee in the State Garba Ifris Kareka a former Speaker Jigawa State House Of Assembly stated this in an interview with newsmen at the party office in Dutse.
Speaking he said, the material for the exercise were distributed to all the 27 local government on Saturday late evening and that the results are expecting to be collected from all the 27 local government from today to Sunday tomorrow.
It was reliably gathered that election was not conducted in almost all the wards across the 387 Wards in the State.
But according to Kareka he said there was no consensus or nomination of candidate, as he added that forms for Ward chairmen was sold at the rate of N10,000 while the rest position was sold at the rate of N2000.
He said that the congress will be fair and peace is assured and by next week Saturday the State congress will take place and in two weeks time the national congress will take place national wide.
