Urgent Appeal For Help And Intervention, As Family Of Sacked Airforce Personnel Cry Out

The Family of Rev. Tanko, a former Nigerian Air Force personnel, who was sacked and kept in detention since September 2021 is demanding for justice .
In a statement by the family they said:”We are appealing to the conscience of every compassionate Nigerian, Christian leader, humanitarian organisation, NGO, lawyer, and person of goodwill.
According to the family, Rev.Tanko was accused of training Boys Brigade Christian faith youth on safe defense before against the incessant attacks .
His family says he was arrested after teaching Christians how to defend themselves and their communities amid insecurity and attacks.
Today, his family is facing an unbearable situation.
He is their breadwinner, and they say his properties have been seized while his family has been left struggling and scattered.
More painfully, Rev. Tanko is reportedly very sick and urgently needs medical attention, including care for diabetes, ulcer and high blood pressure.
Imagine spending years behind bars while your family struggles to survive and your health continues to deteriorate.
This is not a time for silence. This is a time for compassion and intervention.
We respectfully appeal to Prophet El-Buba, Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Paul Enenche, Apostle Johnson Suleman, other Christian leaders, human-rights organisations, NGOs, lawyers, philanthropists and the Church worldwide to please look into this case and offer whatever lawful assistance is possible.

Urgent medical attention
Food and financial support for the family
Humanitarian and advocacy support
Assistance toward securing justice and lawful resolution of his detention
