The Boi Ayaa community has Sought government intervention for the immediate establishment of a Police Outfit in the troubled area this was just as the community has promised to collaborate with the security outfit to curtail the activities of unknown gunmen in the Area.
This followed incessant attacks on innocent residents in the area by unknown gunmen Operating in day brought light attributed to the absence of a Police post, Chief Philemon K. J. Kichime the National President of the community made the revelation during the Boi Cultural Festival in Boi, Bogoro local government area of Bauchi state.
The president also urged the Bauchi state government to take hasten the establishment of the security outfit to curtail the kidnappers from invading the community which has suffered serious attacks in the recent attack.
According to the president, unknown persons last year kidnapped an adviser to the member representing Bogoro constituency in the Bauchi state House of Assembly Honorable Musa Wakili Nakwada.
He added that this year in Gambar Sabon Layi, they killed the village head, and four of his children and kidnapped many people in the community, and other criminal acts in the zone.
On his part, the village head of Boi ( Ruu-Maa-Yaa) Mr. Malam Bala Likita thanked governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of the state for a wonderful infrastructural development on road construction from Boi to Tapshin that linked to neighboring Plateau state prays for his re-election as Bauchi state governor.
According to him said ” The transportation along the axis has become much easier for the communities, promises governor Bala with massive votes in the entire Boi community to 11th of March this year.
In another development, request for the government to also make available water supply in Boi town, to upgrade their Primary Health Care to General Hospital with an ambulance to the entire region.
” Boi is sharing a boundary with Plateau state and is one of the biggest markets in the Southern part of Bauchi state, needs to be upgraded into the new modern market in the state.
The village head added that they are seriously in need of a commercial Bank in order for the entire zone to have access to free loans in order to support their traders and farmers to boost businesses.
