University Of Maiduguri Bomb Explosions: A Professor, Among Five Persons Killed, 20 Injured

Two bomb explosions today rocked University of Maiduguri, the first explosion as learnt by this medium occurred at a Mosque situated at the Staff quarters, the explosion which killed a Professor of Veterinary Medicine and four others took place when Muslim worshippers were having their early morning prayer.

Also the second attack happened near the University’s Gate 5, which is normally used by pedestrians, but only killed the suicide bomber.

Meanwhile the  Borno state Commissioner of Police Damian Isuku who confirmed the incident also stated that the command has mobilized its men to the scene of the explosion.

The explosion this medium gathered when students were writing their first semester exams.

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and that of Borno State (BOSEMA) officials has also confirmed the evacuation of bodies of the Professor, a child and two bombers.
