Faculty of natural science will be honoring Hon Bar Edward Pwajok SAN, member representing Jos South, Jos East in the federal house of representative in Abuja.
The organizers of the event stressed that he will be honored as a “pillar of legal profession in Nigeria” in an occasion slated for Friday 23rd, Feb 2018, at the Crest Hotel along air force road Jos, by 6:00pm.
According to secretary of the organising committee Mr. Strong Yusuf Mashat many notable Nigerians will also be honoured in the event but this medium decided to focus on the man Hon Edward Pwajok.
Hon Pwajok political journey goes as far back as been the State Legal Advicer of PDP in 2005 and later became the state attorney general and commissioner for justice, during the era of Chief Micheal Botman led administration.
In 2007, he was again appointed Attorney General and commissioner for justice plateau state, a position he held for two terms of 8years under the Jonah Jang administration in plateau state.
There is no doubt Bar Pwajok can be said to be among the longest serving attorney general and commissioner for justice, in the federal republic Nigeria.
He contested and warn the house of representative seat to represent his constituency and defected from the PDP in the flour of the NA to APC, which saw the State Governor Bar Simon Lalong attending the defection in the plenary and became the first member in the whole of National Assembly whose state governor witness his defection since 1999.
He was also given highest position of the legal profession in Nigeria, the senior advocate of Nigeria.(SAN)
He has become a key person since joining the APC led government in many decision making in the state and National level, he has also continued to enjoy a tremendous relationship with the leadership of the national assembly headed by Speaker Yakubu Dogara.
