Ungwan Rogo, Rimi Communities In Plateau Cry Over Lack of Government Presence

Residents of  Ungwan Rogo , Rimi communities situated in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State where there is no presence of social amenities have cried out to federal and state government to come to their rescue with the provision social amenities.

 

Meanwhile, a candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Abubakar Kabiru Garba popularly called. Maia kwala, has trained 1115 women on skill acquisitions program and as well created more Jobs to help the government to achieve Industrialization with youth empowerment.

 

He said the women empowerment is the greatest economic and Political liberation of the community that is the reason why he embarked on the projects.

 

Hon Garba presented certificates to all the beneficiaries who undergone several trainings, on different skills and vocational training to be independent and self-reliance.

 

He challenged them to see themselves as lucky people because this certificate given to them might not mean anything for them today but in the near future, they are going to make proper use of it to earn respect in the society.

 

Meanwhile, the Youth leader of the two Communities Mallam Bashir Lawal Adamu complained bitterly that since the crises broke up the members of the communities are suffering from the absence of public primary school, health care delivering and good road networks.

 

According to him, the situation became so critical with the rising case of criminal elements here; “we are calling on state government to consider their plight and create recreational centre towards addressing youth restiveness.

 

He said the lives of the girl child is been threatened by the insurgency as he commended the ADC candidate for his commitment to the wellbeing of the community.

 

Adamu lamented that the people of Jos North are suffering from poverty of ideas and that vocational training centre to train women and youth to achieve meaningful development.

 

He stressed that the graduants should take advantage of the training and contributes their home front and sustain the family in fighting the scourge of poverty.

 

Salisu Abubakar also added his voice by asking the beneficiaries to conduct themselves in the manner that would promote religious injunctions.

 

The Chairman of ADC, His Excellency Sabiu Ibrahim Musa disclosed the party is ready to deliver on its electioneering campaign promises if given the mandate because education is captured in the party ideology.

 

He charged the people of Jos North to vote for a credible person who is capable of creating employment opportunity to the teeming populace.
