The Executive Chairman of Doma Local Government, Hon. Jonathan Okuba Addra has warned Councillors of the ten Electoral wards to ensure transparency and accountability in the distribution of rice.
The Council Boss explained that the Local Government Area received 2000 10Kg bags of rice from Governor Abdullahi Sule as a donation from Dangote Foundation to cushion the effect of hard times in the State.
Adding that out of the existing 214 polling units in Doma, Every polling unit is given 9 bags of 10kg each while 74 bags of 10kg were reserved for people with disability, He explained.
The Chairman in a bid to ensure transparency in almost all distributions since he assumed office, He always make sure the targeted people gets what belongs to them at all times.
He warned those involved in the sharing to adopt openness for the sake of God.
In a similar vain,The Chairman of Doma Local Government shared a 10kg bag of rices to people with Special Need.
