Two Women Nabbed In Nasarawa For Stealing Bags of Grains Meant For Palliative

Two women have been nabbed by security agencies in Doma Local Government for breaking into the Local Government store.

The two women arrested are assisting the security in their investigation.

Universal Reporters further gathered that, though the number of bags has not yet been ascertained some staff of the Local Government Council especially the Storekeeper is also a guest to the security operatives.

They are now answering questions from the security operatives investigating the matter to unravel the perpetrators of the act.

Some yet-to-be-identified persons have broken into the Central store of the Local Government Council despite the presence of security personnel in the Local Government.

Items catered away are mostly bags of maize which was amongst the food items allocated to people as palliative.

The incident happened at about eight pm on Thursday, Universal Reporters gathered that the hoodlums got entrance into the council’s Secretariat through the fence near the Central store and forced the lock open.

As of the time of filing this report, none of the management staff of Doma Local Government Council could be reached for comment on the incident.

Recall that In recent times, relief materials for 2022 victims meant to cushion the effect of flood disaster were also catered away by hoodlums at the same Council Secretariat.
