It is a sad moment for entire Plateau State as fellow citizens losses lives and many were injured during campaign rally of People Democratic Party (PDP) in Panyam-Mangu Road as a result of tragic truck accident.
The Captain of Leadership Transformation and National Coordinator of Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) Nigeria, Comrade TN Timkat has mourned the urgly incident that claimed many lives and injured many fellow citizens of Plateau State. The victims of the accident are supporters of PDP who involved in a truck accident along Panyam-Mangu Road yesterday 14th January, 2023 on their way returning from Gubernatorial Campaign rally. In a press statement, the EFF Coordinator lamented on how citizens were carelessly transported in a truck meant for conveying animals and goods for campaign purpose.
Mr Timkat prayed for the repose of the deceased souls and recovery of the injured. ” This is a sad moment for Plateau State as we losses fellow citizens who went for campaign “. As an organisation, we are saddened by the ugly incident that claimed the lives and injured fellow citizens”.
Furthermore, Our politicians most be caution not to be treating citizens as animals”. Imagine using truck to convey citizens to go for campaign “. These are human beings and not animals “. The should be respected and not to be treated as animals. ” We are sad by the departure of the fellow citizens “.
May their souls rest in peace and may God grand quick recovery to those who sustained injuries and are undertaking medical treatment. Amen.
