Transition Committee Sets Target Of 287 Tasks For Governor Mohammed Abubakar

Governor-elect-Mohammed-AbubakarThe transition technical committee has given the Bauchi state Governor Barrister Mohammed Abubakar a target of 282 tasks before 2019

Alhaji Bello Ilelah who presented the report on behalf of the chairman   Alhaji Garba Gadi the former deputy governor said the target is meant to guide the government to achieve realistic development

The committee added that it has identified ten developmental strategies both long and short term medium for sustainable development.

This goal according to Ilelah is line with the United Nations vision 2030 saying out of the 282 target given to government it is expected that 157 goals are at least completed or commenced within 100 days in office.

The committee stress that the submission is to provide an overview of the processes, observations, analysis, findings to identify goals and made key recommendations

The committee noted that the report is imperative to provide framework that can be used by the administration to deliver change slogan of the APC in line the party manifestos.

Receiving the report, Governor Mohammed has blasts the PDP government for impoverishing Nigerians even as they boosted to rule the country for 60 years

He stressed that his administration will not relent in its commitment to restore the past glory of the state with a promise to reform the civil service for result oriented

“I am going to revitalize the ministries, departments and agencies through rationalizing the staff for improved service delivery.

The governor said, his administration will give priority to health and education sectors towards effective development.
