Seun Egbegbe, ex-boyfriend of Nollywood actress, Toyin Aihmaku, is in the news again for fraud.
This time around, Egbegbe is involved in a $60,000 scam.
He was said to have attempted defrauding a Bureau De Change operator of the money.
Egbegbe, who is at present in Area H Police Station in Ogudu, Lagos State, was beaten by those who arrested him as seen in a video that has already gone viral.
The latest scam by Egbegbe is coming just a few days to the hearing of the case of phone theft against him, a development that has been confirmed to The Punch by the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Dolapo Badmos.
Egbegbe, a Nollywood film producer, had last year been accused of stealing phones from a phone store, Kaalcech Innovations and Consultancy, at 9, Medical Road, Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos State.
At the point of arrest, Egbegbe had seven iPhone 6s and two iPhone 7 in his possession.
The case is scheduled for hearing on February 8, 2017.
