The Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board has condemn a report aired by the General Manager of the Nasarawa Broadcasting Service, Yusuf Musa that pilgrims from the state embarked on a protest at Makkah,Saudi Arabia.
The board refuted the report as lacking merit,Calling on people of Nasarawa state to shun the report, He further said the report was a mere fabrication meant to ridicule the state in a bad light.
“Thanks for the opportunity the report was false and unfounded as no plans for such issues by our pilgrims”. The PRO added.
Further findings by universalreporters247.com unveiled that Yusuf Musa, the anchorman of the state owned Radio and Television arm who was allocated free Hajj seat following a tensed lobby to swap his co- staff who has a permanent Hajj seat at the board instead of promoting the state was found of battering the good image of the people of the state.
