Stakeholders from Agbashi, The administrative head of Ekye Development Area, of Doma Local Government Council of Nasarawa State, have sent a Save Our Soul message to the executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule by ensuring that the headquarter of Ekye, Agbashi was given it right place in the scheme of things instead of relegating Agbashi to the background in the name of insecurity.

Some selected stakeholders in a separate interview lambasted the Overseer Bello Akuza for abandoning Agbashi as well as for systematically moving operations to the Idadu community.

Urging the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, and his Deputy, Dr.Emmanuel Akabe to give the headquarters of Ekye Development Area ample opportunity as the administrative head of Doma South.

Anthony in an exclusive interview said the Overseer did not report to the office more than three times barely in two years, The reactions are unfolding following the recent distribution of the third phase of palliative shared to the people of Ekye in Idadu on Tuesday this week.

Universal Reporters Online can authoritatively confirm that the office of the Overseer was taken over by reptiles, termites, and rodents, while the faeces of lizards enveloped the seat of the Overseer.

Hon. Musa Abubakar . Ibrahim(NNPP) , a Member representing Doma South in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and also chairman of the House Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, Rural, and Community Development, acknowledged receiving video clips from a committee set up by the Ministry for LGCA&CD to inspect LG and DA Secretariat in the State.

The lawmaker representing Doma South says the Overseer is hiding under the guise of insecurity to relocate the headquarters of Ekye Development Area to Idadu, Giving insight into how the third phase of palliative was distributed at Idadu.

He said the Governor has provided a level playing ground for the people of Ekye Development Area with the presence of military formations in Idadu and Agbashi respectively.

He augured that the military on the ground was enough for those involved to take rice and money to his people, whom just a few benefited from the State Government’s benevolence.

“Just a few of my people from Agbashi, The headquarters of Ekye Development Area benefited from the State Government gesture of rice and money, something that was supposed to be done in Agbashi took place outside the Local Government.

He however added, “I can take this unwholesome approach towards my people, describing the act as deliberate to sideline his people from benefiting from the palliative.

He added, “When I received the clips, it was shocking to see that grass had taken off the structures. I am still studying the video clips and other reports before me for necessary action.”

“As legislators and representatives of our various constituencies, we must correct these wrongs for a better tomorrow,” he emphasized.

The Overseer of the Ekye Development Area, Bello Akoza could not be reached for response.

Despite the text messages and calls put across without any response.
