The Complicity And How Qua’an Pan South Constituency Was Wrongly Declared

There is a serious challenge in Qua’an Pan South State House of Assembly which the PDP forum in Plateau has said its election was alleged to have been marred with irregularities, over-voting, mutilation of polling units’ results which were altered in favour of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

 

The PDP forum also cried of malpractices in some wards adding there weren’t electoral materials deployed for the conduct of the election as they accused INEC of going to declare Hon Abubakar Mohammed was returned.

 

The forum said that the way and manner results of Qua’an Pan South was manufactured and announced in favour of a particular candidate is worrisome, they alleged REC, INEC Adhoc staffs  engaging in fraudulent practices citing case of malfunction of cards readers machines deploy for the conduct of the exercise which was alleged to have been orchestrated and perfected by the REC, and many other issues.

 

 

The also said that the APC candidate is now going about bragging that, he has bought the INEC for them not to come and testify before the State Election Tribunal, and when a subpoena was communicated to them they vehemently refused to come.

 

 

The stated that the REC said that INEC will commence the issuance of the voters’ cards to their owners but the late arrival of sensitive materials and malfunctioning of card readers with non-availability results sheet form EC8A II series to enter the scores.

 

The elections in the following under listed polling units affected by over voting particularly NAKUM UNG. ISHAYA ‘A’ 005, Dog. ISHAYA ‘B’ 006 all in (BWALL RA,01); ANG. ANKWAI 001, POEYAK 007, NAMU ROAD 009, ANG. GALADIMA II 011, ANG. LOKO I 012, DOROWA KUDU II 016, ANG. DOROWA II 017, 655 KURGWI CENTRALI 018, UNG. WAKILI I 019 all in KURGWI RA 05; WAYIL/KAIKO 003 in KWALLA MOEDA RA 07; BEHIND POLICE STATION KWANDE (UNG. MADAKI II) 005, MAGISTRATE COURT KWANDE (UNG. GALADIMA I) 010, LEA LUUKWO (UNG. TOFA) 012, PHCN LUUKWO (UNG. BATURE II) -.1… mm mAlANDO 027 all in KWANDE RA 09; and GINDIN RIMI II was full of mutilation, alteration and wrong entering of figures which weren’t in existence.

 

 

The petition was by Hon. Zainab Dogo  of the  People Democratic Party whose candidate of the Petitioned at the election at the House of Assembly for the 9th March 2019

 

The 2nd Petitioners is a registered political party in Nigeria. The 2nd Petitioner at the said election held on the 9“ March 2019, nominated and sponsored the First Petitioner as its candidate.

 

The Plateau State Election Tribunal sitting in Jos the Plateau state capital between Hon Abubakar Mohammed against Dogo Zainab was told that their election was full with irregularities,  alterations, over voting and noncompliance to the electoral act were results are doctored in favour of the APC candidate who scored,  17,738, while Zainab Dogo scale through with 14,944 as a defeated candidate.

 

The basic on the above results the 1St Respondent declared the 2nd Respondent as a winner of the said election and equally returned him elected. INEC FORMS EC8C(I) AND EC8E(I) respectively for Qua’an Pan South State Constituency of Plateau State are hereby pleaded.

  1. Tshon Kwata 010, where 285 ballots unaccounted for under Namu RA 11;

 

vii. Kwari I, 021 where 6 ballots were unaccounted for under Namu RA 11 ;

 

viii. Ung. Haliku 030, where 134 ballots unaccounted for under Namu RA 11;

 

  1. Ntoeroem 041, where 149 ballots were unaccounted for under Namu RA 11;

 

  1. Ang. Dorowa I, 014 where 52 ballots were unaccounted for under Kurgwi RA 05;

 

  1. Dorowa Kudu I, 015 where 11 ballots were unaccounted for under Kurgwi RA 05;

 

xii. RCM PR1 Sch Kwalla Town I, 004, where 03 ballots were unaccounted for under Kwalla Moeda 07; xiii. RCM PRI Sch Kwalla Town II, 005, where 201 ballots were unaccounted for, under Kwalla Moeda 07; xw. Geopi 013, where 36 ballots unaccounted for under Kwalla Moeda 07; xv. Kopdu/parina A 015, where 123 ballots were unaccounted for under Kwalla Moeda 07; Your petitioners hereby plead INEC FORM EC8A(I) for all the polling units listed above and the 1st Respondent is put on Notice To Produce the original or the certified true copy during the trial.
