The Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen has called on Osun State women to be actively involved in the development of their state as it clocks 28 years.
Tallen said women are the pivot of societal development whose scope of nation building is limitless.
In a statement made available to our correspondent in Jos ,by her Media aide ,Mr Shabul Mazadu he said ,women are keepers of the home and ardent groomers of their offspring, they are the molders of the society as there is none that can boast of not being trained by a woman right from infancy.
Tallen calls on them to deploy the same zeal they use in grooming their children and wards in all their areas of assignments in Osun State, and to support the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration in combating drug abuse and other crimes amongst the youths by advising their children and wards to shun all forms of debauchery and decadency and to be of help to themselves and the society.
The Women Affairs Minister further said the Buhari Administration is all out to alleviate the hardship of women and to take them to the Next Level of progress, therefore Osun State women should be actively involved in politics by aspiring for elective positions, and diligently support the programmes of the Federal Government in bettering their lives.
Tallen finally congratulated the governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, his deputy, members of the State House of Assembly, traditional chiefs, religious leaders and the entire people of Osun as their state clocks 28 years, and wishes them more prosperous years ahead.
