Tension and Anxiety brew in Kadarko District of Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State on Saturday as herders armed with dangerous weapons ambush one Jatfa Danbaki launching an attack on him on his farm.
The heavily armed militia group suspected to be Fulani storm the farm location at about 4 pm by using a sword to cut him in all parts of his body.
The incident brought serious tension in Kadarko when the residents got the information that Fulani marauders have invaded Jatfa Danbaki beating hacking him with a machete all over his body to the point of coma.
According to the eyewitness account, Mr. Jatfa was in applying herbicide on his farm unknown to him that the Fulani militia was targeting him from behind.
It gathered that they hacked several times at the back and his head as the rainy season returned, and herders /farmers clash had resumed in some villages in Plateau state.
However, the Ponzhi Kadarko, HRH, Lot Nden has called for calm appealing to security to be deployed in flashpoint areas to curtail the breakdown of law and order.
He expressed sadness that Wase LGA peace is gradually returning to the communities, but some miscreants want to take advantage and create crises to survive.
Nden warned t the youth not to take laws into their hand by prevailing on them to maintain the law and avoid unnecessary conflict.
