Stay At Home by 8:00pm, Doma Local Government Chairman Warn Residents

The people of Doma Local Government Council have been warned to stay at home by 8:00pm to 6:00am or face the full wrath of the law.

He gave the disclosure during a security council meeting presided by him at the council Secretariat, he appealed to the people of Doma to abide by the Federal Government social distancing policy.

The Chairman, ahead of Wednesday market, which is a major market reminded traders to stay away from trouble by staying at home, avoid public gathering ,naming ceremony which he said is part of the preventive measure of COVID-19.

Hon.Rabo Sani also called on the leadership of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to admonished drivers to avoid been arrested at the odd hours after 8:00pm.

 

The representatives of the Nigeria Army 123 Special Forces Battalion Barrack, Doma, Civil Defense, Peace Corp, DSS, Nasarawa Youth Empowerment Scheme and the police pledge unalloyed support to ensure that citizenry complied to Government directive.

 

Various agencies identified shortage of manpower, lack of functional operational vehicle and working tools as a source of concern to carried out their social responsibility as an organization.

 

The district head of Doka, Mohammed Salif called on Government at all levels to take stringent steps to tackle the issue of trespassing into Doma Local Government land by people from Kwarra in Keana Local Government Council.

 

Calling on the need for boundary commission to Wade into the matter which if left unchecked would degenerate to serious crisis between the two sisters Local Governments.

 

He called on the State Commissioner of police to look into absence of police Outpost in Doka, Ankoma and Gidan Rai ,describing it has an ugly development.

 

The district head attributed the incessant killings and attacked by people suspected to be TIVS maiming and setting houses ablaze as unhealthy.

 

Saying something urgent must be done to end the intermittent attacks on innocent lives and destruction of properties.
