Hon. Mohammad Okpede member Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Doma North constituency (PDP) has debunked the position of the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Honorable Balarabe Ibrahim that the remaining two People’s Democratic Party lawmakers would dump their Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Hon. Okpede described the statement of the speaker as a fallacy meant to divert attention.

He hinted this in an exclusive interview with universalreporters247.com in his house.

The lawmaker said he will remain in the PDP as far as the former governor of Nasarawa State, Aliyu Akwe Doma remains in the party.

“Though in one of our discussion I told him to consult the former governor may be in the process Doma decamp to the APC I will as well follow him.

The Honorable member admonished party followers to remain committed and law abiding during and after the party convention.

Also speaking separately, Hon.Peter Mbucho in an interview with selected Journalists at the state Party secretariat said he will remain in the PDP.
