…expresses confidence that APC will clinch Plateau State Governorship
The Plateau Northern Senatorial District based on the gentleman agreement reached with the current zoning arrangement, the stakeholders have appealed to the party faithful to consider Afizere for the seat of Deputy Governor, as the list of two persons, the embattled Hon Itse Ishaya was cheerfully nominated.
An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and former Aspirant for Chairmanship seat, Hon. Itse Ishaya has been nominated for the post of Plateau State Deputy Governor seat, as he assured of APC landslide victory in the forthcoming general elections in 2023.
He charged the electorates to vote leadership of the party to continue with the rescue mission of delivering dividends of democracy to the good people of Plateau.
Ishaya who was carefully chosen for the position of Deputy Governor applauded the overwhelming support of APC stakeholders for finding it worthy.
According to him, he will harmonize all factions across the states ahead of the commencement of the 2023 polls.
Itse Ishaya, who lauded the emergence of the Nentawe Yilwatda -as the Governorship candidate of APC in the forthcoming general elections, further advised the party leadership against pitching a tent with any particular camp but rather ensure that the party is genuinely united.
He alleged that the next phase of the electoral process, which is the election of candidates through party primaries, is more delicate than electing the party leadership in a convention.
He called on,” Senator Abdullahi Adamu to first reconcile all the factions in the different states after that we know that we have a united APC in various states and then we can move to clinch 2023 through genuine reconciliation.
“Also, I want the new leadership to avoid pitching their tent in one particular camp by considering him as the choice of the masses”, he said.
“ Governorship candidate Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda should extend the hand of brotherhood to aggrieved aspirants and solicit their cooperation because peace is not to go to a national television to say you’re at peace with your brother when you can’t see your brother”, Itse explains.
“So we have to make it real and something that will work and not just media statements to make people think there is peace. As far as we are concerned, APC in Plateau State is not united, the sooner we unite, the better for us.”
