Speaker Nasarawa Assembly Assures APC Of The Defection Of 2 PDP Lawmakers To Ruling Party

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Honorable Ibrahim Balarabe of the defection of the two lawmakers from the People’s Democratic Party fold to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The speaker stated this during the launching of Photobook and Almanac of the party during the weekend in Lafia.

Balarabe gave the assurance that the remaining lawmakers from the PDP fold, Honorable Mohammed Okpede representing Doma North constituency and Hon.Peter Mbucho has agreed to dump their party to the APC.

“We are making a donation of N2m on behalf of the 22 members and with full assurance; the remaining 2 lawmakers would soon join us”.

Hon. Balarabe described the APC as a sincere party with integrity, stating further that there is no opposition party in Nasarawa State.

“We are comfortable that there is no opposition like the All Progressives Grand Alliance and the People’s Democratic Party”.

The speaker lauded governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for giant stride he exhibited in the last seven years, he described the former minister of Information, Labaran Maku as a Boise make.

“We don’t have opposition rather noise makers without electoral value”.
