Meanwhile, the Chairman of Madagali local Government area of Adamawa State , Alhaji Mohammed Yusuf OC  has said that the Boko Haram insurgents which attacked Gulak yesterday at around 8pm took to their heels with sustained serious injuries and the Nigerian Armies traced them through  the drops of bloods to hiding mountains.

Honourable Yusuf said the Nigerian Army reliable informed him that no casualties of their personnel were recorded except the Boko Haram members that were serious dealt with.

He gave kudos to the combatant soldiers as he said that he has much confidence and trust in them to end the activities of Boko Haram in the near future.

“I’m okay with the level of our army preparedness to end insurgents, yesterday would have been another dark day for the people of not only Gulak but the entire Adamawa state. I appreciate the efforts of the Army and pray for more strength for them to totally wipe off Boko Haram in Nigeria, “Yusuf said.

He however called on all security agencies to be proactive and constantly be on their duty post as the insurgents trooped into Gulak through porous security routes and wanted to cause a serious damage to the town that is already enjoying the atmosphere of peace.
