#SokotoProjects: Some Achievements of Gov. Tambuwal’s Administration In Pictures

The Government of Aminu Tambuwal has done a lot of projects since assuming office last year May 2015.

Some of these include the construction of 36 earth dams being constructed around across all the local governments in the State.

One of the dams is located at Kutufare village in Gudu LGA and one of the main purpose of the dam is to is curtail flooding from Niger Republic.

Another project of Tambuwal administration also includes the Kalambaina Housing estate built for civil servants in Sokoto. This project is almost completed, it has facilities, such as market, school, among others. It will be commissioned tomorrow by President Buhari on his one day working visit to Sokoto.

There is also the Gidan Salanke Estate also being built for Civil Servants in the State also.

However, one of the most inspiring projects of the Governor is the building of secondary in Gudu Local Government, as it is before the coming of Tambuwal as Governor of Sokoto State, the local government does not have a secondary school. The inhabitants of the Local Government can  now boast of a school, but a modern school with functional facilities, the school will serve both Nigerian and Niger republic  curriculum.

The first secondary school being built in Gudu LG Sokoto State, it is expected to benefit children from Niger too, it is also male and female boarding and day school with bilingual (French & English) curriculum.
