Six Persons Die In A Ghastly Motor Accident In Jigawa

Six Persons have died in a ghastly motor accident in Jigawa State.  The Jigawa Police Command reports that on 26/06/2022 at about 2320hrs, information at their disposal revealed that, there was a fatal motor accident along Hadejia to Kano Road.

The accident involved a motor vehicle Lexus black in color with reg no. AAA 153 EA, driven by one Habib Habib Talle a 30yrs old man of Yalleman Quarters in Kaugama LGA of Jigawa state carried eight (8) passengers and conveyed the bride from Hadejia to Yalleman.

On his way to Yelleman from.hadejia  and reaching Gidan sugar, that is Jigawa sugar factory on their way back to Hadejia , while on motion, both the rear and front tyre was removed, the driver lost control, the vehicle somersaulted and swarmed by the roadside.

On receipt of the report, a team of Policemen swung into action and visited the scene, the police have evacuated some of the victims and rushed to General Hospital Hadejia for treatment.

Six persons were confirmed and certified dead by Medical Doctor of the Hospital while others are treatment, they are;

1_ Baba Rabi’a Aliyu ‘f’ age 50yrs,

2_ Ummi Abubakar ‘f’ age 30yrs,

3_ Aisha Soja ‘f’ age 37

Radiya Turaki ‘f’ age 3yrs,

5_ Kabir Sani ‘m’ age 2 and a half yrs, all of Wunti Quarters in Hadejia municipal  LGA, and

6_ Habib Habib Talle  ‘m’ age 30yrs of Yalleman Quarters, Kaugama LGA.

The other three passengers were on admission receiving treatment.
