The Irigwe Speaking Natives of Plateau state have blamed and accused the former Governor, Senator Jonah David Jang for his in ability to visit the area after the massacre that left 27 persons dead.

The Youth President of Irigwe Youth Movement (IYM), Chinge Ayuba Dodo told our correspondent that the Senator representing Plateau Northern senatorial district of Plateau state has refused to stop indicating that he never liked them.

He said a bloodbath that attracted both local and international condemnations where innocent people were butchered while in their sleep by suspected Fulani herdsmen who were on a reprisal attack, never saw the Senator representing them make any presence to commiserate with them.

Dodo accused Sen. Jang of demonstrating hatred against the people of Miango speaking natives in spite of the ugly mayhem in the area.

The Youth President expressed shock over the show of bias by the Senator to the people of Irigwe who are members of Plateau northern senatorial district even as he said that the Senator couldn’t show sympathy even on death of beloved ones.

The President condemned in totality how their leaders shunned them in their moment of need; “we reaffirm our commitment to all lawful processes aim at finding lasting peace to the district.

Dodo said the Irigwe nation drummed their support to the Senator representing Plateau northern during his 8 years rule as the governor and even now that he is a Senator.

According to him, the people of Irigwe are known for their accommodative nature and they are peace loving people but never wish to treated with hatred and rejection by the immediate past governor.
