Shiite/Police Clash: How Police Dumped 40 Bodies At Murtala Hospital Kano, Detains More Than 100 in Kano
The Islamic Movement has said that more than 100 persons were killed by the Police including their colleague. According to the movement in statement it said; “ Over forty bodies of those killed by the Nigeria Security forces were dumped at Murtala Hospital alone in Kano as reported by our reported Adam Lawal.
“The whereabouts of other bodies ferried away by the police in Kano still remain unknown.
According to the statement it said; “Nigerian police murdered 100+ IMN members with a friendly bullet hitting one of them. The police simply clampdown on peaceful Arbaeen symbolic trek embarked upon by IMN from Kano to Kaduna with teargas and live bullets.
“Several IMN members were injured in the unprovoked attack. The police fabricated lies to justify their action claiming that the IMN engaged them in a shootout whereas there are no evidences of any IMN member carrying any weapon as depicted by pictures and video clips of the attack. Meanwhile, there are speculations that police are planning to mass bury those IMN members they killed in cold blood. They have also deposited about 40 corpses in a hospital in Kano. “
“The government has remained silent since the incident as several tens of injured are with police without medical attention, it said.
