Sharp Practices: Head and Staff of Nasarawa Primary Health Care To Loose Job Over Misappropriation of Funds

The current revelation by the new headship of the Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (NSPHCDA) may not go down well with former heads and staffers of the Agency as complaints of misappropriation is the order of the day.
The executive chairman, Dr. Usman Adis in an Interview decried the high level of misappropriation of funds by heads of facilities and promised to unveil those behind the act.
He said those caught in the act will risk losing their jobs as he further said the perpetrators will never go scot free, Dr. Adis who assumed office recently listed some of the nagging challenges facing the Agency to include, going for further studies which he said potent serious threat to health services in the state which he opined run short of personnel.
“We gave all local councils the directive. To submit list of all workers that are in school without prior approval by the Agency, saying the right must be done now”.

Non-challant attitude of health workers
And improper dressing by health practitioners as a major challenges
Other preponderance of the Agency, according to the executive chairman include absence of hand over note by his predecessor, Janet Angbazo.
