Senior Magistrate Judge Deborah Nyam Walkout Journalist In Court For Covering Proceedings

A Senior Magistrate Court sitting adjacent High Court10 Plateau State, High court presided over Justice Deborah Nyam has walkout a journalist, Yakubu Busari, for covering her proceedings.

 

The judge asked me if I was holding a camera television which I said no my Lord, she further inquire about my identification proper which I gave my Universal Reporters ID cards attached.

 

Then the judge said we are not confident having you inside this court you can go outside of my proceedings because we don’t know if you have the intention of someone’s sponsor your coming.

 

 

The judge maintains that whether I was invited to cover special proceedings for someone and I said no my Lord, I have been a judiciary reporter for years and I’m here for coverage.

 

However, journalists are allowed to cover all proceedings in court except that they’re not allowed to use camera television during the ongoing court proceedings.
