Senate President David Mark Orders for the Closure of The National Assembly

The President of the Senate, David Mark Thursday ordered  the closing of the National Assembly following the hullabaloo that took place at the assembly where security officials made up of Police and SSS stoped the Speaker of the House of Representatives from entering the National Assembly.

According to David Mark he said the Assembly will remain shut till next Tuesday, even as he described the invasion of the Assembly as very unfortunate.

It will be recalled that there was pandemonium at the National Assembly on Thursday as the House of Representatives reconvened to deliberate on the request by President Goodluck Jonathan to extend the State of Emergency in the three north east states ravaged by Boko Haram.
