The Governor of Bauchi State Sen. Bala Mohammed has tasked the Plateau delegates to vote for him in the forthcoming primary election, Bala asked them to vote for men of credibility and integrity who will promote the tenets of democracy in Nigeria.
Bala a presidential aspirant of the People Democratic Party , PDP, stated this during his interface held at PDP Secretariat on Saturday saying, he has contributed immensely to the development of the country.
He described himself as a true democrat who hailed from Plateau state, but was born in Bauchi State by a Fulani mother.
Senator Bala Mohammed said PDP as a political party should support the best candidate forward in order to wrestle power back from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)
Governor Mohammed called on the members to be united for the sake of Nigeria, stressing that the PDP could not afford to be in the opposition again from 2023.
He added that the experience he gathered and the developmental strive as the Minister for FCT is enough records for every Nigerian to support his ambition .
Mohammed the past records of PDP show that, we have projects littering across the country and as a party man we must reward people who work for the victory of PDP .
He harped on the traditional rulers toward identifying the criminal elements creating conflict in Nigeria.
Bale maintained that PDP did credibly well in the area of agriculture by providing fertilizers to farmers as to when due and subsidizing it .
He noted that during the reign of PDP in Nigeria there was improved dry season farming and the problems associated with food security were adequately addressed so if given the mandate he would do better.
The Bauchi State Governor emphasized that he is a bridge-builder who has transversed the length and breadth of the country in promoting peaceful coexistence amongst Muslims and Christians.
