See The Face Of The Man That Kidnapped The Village Head Of Kijin And His Brother In Jigawa, Arrested By Police, Others On The Run
The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested a 50 year old man Malam Suwidi Abdulsamad of Unguwar Gayya of Gwaram local government area for kidnapping the Village Head of Kijin Mamuda Dauda and his brother Wada Dauda about one month ago.
The suspects has confessed that they collected the sum of N2m naira from the families before they released the two traditional holders, explaining further he said that they used AK 47 and other weapons to storm the Kijin village that night around 12.00pm.
He also stated that before they whisked away the two brothers, they shot into the air to disperse people away so as not to have any problem of whisking away the village head and his brother.
Suwidi said he is now regretting of what he did, assuring that if he is pardon, he will not commit any crime in future, he added that he uses his gun to steal from the communities.
According to the suspect, he said they uses the food items they steal from the public to feed themselves and also uses river inside the bush as source of their drinking water.
Suwidi added that he only work for them as a spy in the town, he is the one who informed them of all the activities going in the town and it is his first time he visited the bush to collect his own share, but unfortunately vigilant officials on patrol invaded the bush and arrested him because he has no good knowledge of the escape route but none of his friend were arrested because all they have knowledge of the escape route and that it was from there they escaped.
