The former military Governor of Niger State and Chairman of the occasion, Anaboze Buji Nation of Bass a LGA ,Rtd ,Col Lawan Gwadabe has advocated for cultural revival of the people of Plateau state to harmonize and developed cultural activities improve income generation .
Gwandabe made this disclosure at PHC clinic Zukku Buji after NNPC Depot Zaria Road Jos during the Anaboze ,Buji ,Nation and annual Cultural Day ,”tagged :REMEZE”2017 of Bass a Local Government Council of Plateau state on Saturday after been honoured with the traditional title of Turaki Buji.
He said, this is the type of gathering that always bring us together to embrace each other culture and way of live so as to promote peaceful coexistence to attract cordial relationship among people.
Represented by senior elder Alh sanusi Mato ,Gwandabe maintained that under the leadership of governor Lalong we have gone far in the area of unity of the state unlike some years back nobody could have been gather here to celebrate .
He encouraged intertribal harmony amongst the people of Plateau state to enable us achieved sustainable development so as to forge ahead as a nation.
According to him, today we are joining the Buji people to enjoy the uniqueness of the rich African cultural display of love and understanding of each other .
Rtd Col Gwandabe reiterated the important of unity in diversity as a panacea in nation building by appealing to Nigerian to remains their brothers keeper .
Alhaji Danladi Garba Pasali-National Secretary Independent Petroleum marketers Association (IPMAN) has commended the Governor Simon Bako Lalong for the restoration of peace on the Plateau and its environmental strikes .
Hon Pasali reminded Nigerians to effectively contribute towards the restoration of peace and the progress of APC government to bring development .
He emphasized that ,with the cooperation of all and sundry ,lalong would effect development in revamping cultural carnival which attract revenue generation to the state inline with federal government policy of diversification of the economy through tourism, agriculture .
Similarly ,Pasali disclosed that the state government, under the leadership of governor Simon Lalong ,has been praised for the judicious use of public funds to turn around the state into a peace loving state .
” I was highly honour with this title given to me by the Buji community, I was borned and brought up with the Buji people and known that this will spur me to do more in the area of adding value to the live of people “,he explained.
He described the the Buji people as the most accommodative people who are not religion bigots but appealed to other nationality Nigeria to emulate the good gesture of Buji speaking native.
Hon Pasali cautioned against violence extrimsm which is gradually washing away the cultural value of our people, he said , I grew up here and we are the pioneering students of government secondary school Buji, so I grew up with these people and I know them as peace loving .
The Ogomo Buji decorated him with the traditional title of Aboki ,meaning a reliable friend of the Buji people with cultural display and the rich food to entertained visitors.
