Rtd Cdr Yilchini Bida Joins Guber Race, Confers With Nemel Chieftaincy Of Ngolong Ngong (Sarkin Yaki Nemel)

There was wide jubilation at Nemel community in Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State following the conferment of chieftaincy title on Rtd Cdr Yilchini Bida as the Sarkin Yaki Nemel (Ngolong Ngong) , for his community development services by the Nemel Traditional Rulers’ Council, for outstanding contribution  to nation building  .

Rtd Cdr Yilchini Bida who is also a gubernatorial aspirant for the 2027 was cheerfully honoured by the Nemel Traditional council for community service ,youth empowerment , ethical leadership and the promotion of peace , security and responsible civil engagement in Nigeria.

A highly respected retired Naval officer , accomplished public sector accountant as well as a proud son of Nemel commander Jan a devoid over twenty years of distinguished meritorious service to the Nigerian Naval and the federal government where he handled sensitive financial audit and budgeting responsibility with exceptional discipline , integrity and professionalism .

The traditional council described him as a worthy son , throughout his career ,he consistently demonstrated that accountability , transparency and respect to the rule of law are not merely administrative values but powerful tools for social stability, good governance in national security .

In his leadership and advisory role commander Jan played key parts in strengthening institutional system and safeguarding public resources and supporting programmes aimed at poverty reduction and social development by promoting transparence and compliance .

He contributed to reducing financial misconduct and systematic weakness that often fuel social unrest amongst the youths, disenfranchisement including the exploitation of the young people leading to their political thuggery and electoral violence .

Apart from this attributes , Yilchini Bida stand as a role model for Nemel youth to emulate his exemplary virtue of discipline , lawful conduct in service and patriotic in his professional journey which send a clear message to the young Nigerian that a meaningful success is achieved through education hard-working and integrity through commitment to national ideas .

The traditional council urged the youths in Nemel to shun violence , intimidation during electioneering campaign and malpractice .

The ceremony which happened at the Community Secondary School on the 13th of March, 2026, also marked the 13th Nemel Traditional council Unity Convention.

Speaking shortly before the conferment, the Chairman, Nemel Traditional  Council, HRH, Nde Jika Golet (Ngolong Ngas) Represented by NDDA President Mr Emmy G.Wutap , said that God created man in His likeness to continue good works on earth.

The royal father also said “Rtd Cdr Yilchini Bida , has manifested God’s likeness in him by working hard to make our community better through community development initiatives. I thank God on his behalf because he has become a source of God’s blessings to our community. By this chieftaincy conferment on him by Nemel community, he has written his name on the marble as a champion of development in our community.

“Let him be an example to Nemel sons and daughters who are equally successful in their respective endeavours to think-home and bring development to our community. God always rewards people who bless others by their positions in the society and Yilchini Bida would not be an exception. God will bless him for his numerous philanthropic gestures in our community, especially, for attracting numerous community network to  us.Nemel land and ancestors will continue to bless him.

“Because he has blessed Nemel community, we are clothing him with our magnificent traditional regalia as we equally confer on him, the traditional title of ‘Ngolong Ngong,” the monarch said.

In his message of goodwill to Chief Ardok Bulus Moses , said the chieftaincy title was to encourage him to do more for the community.

 He assured that the community want to build 50 million Appeal funds raising for the completion of quest house  accomodation for visitors , having found the community worthy to benefit from the state road project.

In his response, Rtd Naval Cdr Yilchini Bida said that it was a thing of joy to be honoured by his community. He also said the traditional title has motivated him to do more good works for his people.

He thanked  the people of Nemel community and for those that don’t know me I didn’t join politics to squandered the resources but to ensure that everyone living and residents in Plateau State enjoy the benefits of the resources God bless us with .

Many of you don’t know that I was born in this land , this community is blessed but I came with good intention to serve humanity and liberate our people from object poverty .

He urged the people of Plateau state to get their PVCs read ahead of 2027 general election because this state is crying for poor leadership and we need to intervene by fixing the errors in governance.

” I will give everyone adequate attention and no one else will be marginalized on the ground of ethnic and religious beliefs .,we shall build a foundation for our people yet unborn children to ripe the dividends of democracy if given the chance to serve.

“We own our children a better future because as a child nobody ,I see all of us are equal opportunity to work and end legitimate living in respective of status in society and access to qualitative lives across the 17 LGAs “,he said.

According to him, Plateau State is for all of us ,we all live here and our children must be proud to be citizens ,I need your total support the people of Nemel community .

 into his government, adding that governments at all levels should be playing complementary roles in developing different segments of the society.
