Revealed: President Buhari’s Portrait Allegedly Missing At The State Party Secretariat In Jos, As Atiku Gains Control Of Party In The State

The bubble may soon burst within the ranks of the All Progressives Change, APC in Plateau; this is as this medium has learnt that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar may have allegedly gained control of the party in the State, thereby pushing President Buhari’s men in the State out of the scheme of things within the party on the Plateau.

According to sources within the party, the  former Vice President Atiku Abubakar now has control political bigwigs in the State as well even as this medium learnt that surprisingly some of the appointments made into Lalong Government soon after he took over office were PDP members, some who jumped ship to the party soon as Lalong was declared winner of the 2015 Governorship election in the State, for instance the Commissioner for Tourism, Culture and Hospitality, Hon Mwankon Peter John who is  from Barkin Ladi as well the Chief of Staff, Government House John Dafa’an who hails from Quanpa’an local government, were among the last appointment of former Governor Jang and some others, as universalreporters247.com learnt these and other issues may soon snowball into a big crisis that will tear the party into factional groups.

Curiously this medium also learnt that, for unexplained reasons the official picture of President Muhammadu Buhari is allegedly missing at the State APC secretariat in Jos, as the only portrait there is that of party’s Chairman Hon. Latep Dabang and that of the State Governor Simon Lalong, most party chieftains in the State are in shock why the President’s portrait is said to be missing at the party’s headquarters in the State.

More so, universalreporters247.com also gathered the same scenario played out at the House of the chairman of the party Hon. Latep Dabang as a check at his sitting room shows that his own picture with that of the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is mounted on his sitting room, an indication that the Plateau State Chapter of the APC are loyal to Atiku in spite of the Buhari led administration.

Aside this, this medium also learnt that 10 out of 17 Chairman are allegedly loyal to the Party’s chairman in the State. It was also alleged that Hon. Latep Dabang the party’s chairman is gathering money from the 10 Chairman for his Senatorial ambition, it was also alleged that the recent weeding of his daughter was sponpored by the Chairmen who are loyal to him.

As learnt, this medium findings shows that these Local Governments Chairmen are loyal to him, they include Bassa, Jos North, Pankshin, Bokkos, Jos South, Riyom, Barkin Ladi, Kanam Langtang north and Langtang South.

Findings by this medium also reveals that some party stalwarts in the State are regretting Political pundits in the State are of the view that the some State chapter of supporting Lalong to become the governor during the last election where the PDP was dislodged in the State.

Also this medium gathered that relationship between Governor Simon Lalong with some chieftains of the party recently has recorded bitter pills, this is as most of the stakeholders like, Captain Din, former deputy governor Pauline Tallen, General John Nanzip Shagaya, Engr. Haruna, Dasuki Nakande and Fidelis Tapgun are said to be unhappy with the governor and his style of government as he is not carrying them along in the scheme of things.

Meanwhile in a response, to the stalwarts who are disenchanted with the Governor, the Governor’s brothers as well as his kinsmen have accused the  elder statesmen of the party of conspiring with the President to render their brother a Governor that they can use and dump.

Also following the current hardship experienced in the country, this medium learnt the APC is gradually loosing grip of its members.

Speaking to our correspondent in Jos, an APC chieftain expressed sadness with the change government, according to him; he said many youths have resorted to stealing and blocking of highway where they attack innocent motorists.

He lamented that the Lalong government has brought shame and untold hardship to citizens especially with the skyrocketing of price of foodstuffs which is now beyond the reach of common man.

Some APC stalwarts who spoke on the government said, “We worked very hard to install the current government, after the swearing-in ceremony Lalong neglected us completely so we are disappointed in him.”

The group cried out that the governor has introduced the same thing that made them vote out the PDP government in the last Governorship election in the State, according to them they said Lalong and his government is promoting tribal sentiments and lopsided appointment of his tribesmen to head key position of authority.
