Revealed: How Two APC Governorship Aspirants In Nasarawa State Who Lost Election, Dragged Delegates To Police, Compelled Them To Refund Money

Some delegates of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa State were humiliated while others went underground to escape arrest by security agencies.

The melodrama, according to a reliable source started when an informant called one of the defeated governorship aspirant, Arch. Jafaru Mohammed Ibrahim briefing him and blaming his Director General Campaign, Bar. Mustapha Galadima for withholding monies meant for delegates.

It was gathered that Arch. Jafaru, current member federal house of Representatives representing Toto, Nasarawa called his DG and narrated the whole conservative, however, this did not go down well with Galadima as he vowed to recover the monies given to delegates after meeting with the informant.

Feelers revealed that some of the defaulted delegates were foisted to coughed out N50,000.

Universal Reporters gathered that huge amount of money was recovered from delegates who deceived aspirants ranging from House of Assembly to Governorship election.

An errand boy to one of the aspirants said is necessary to recover the money, he stated.

One of the Governorship Aspirant did not only embark on recovery but he also detained some of the defaulted delegates who collected monies from many aspirants.

It was gathered that some delegates were foisted to refund their money before an Inspector Crime at Doma Police station.

A competent source close to Mohammed Danladi Halilu Emvuluanza said the decision of recovering monies from delegates was heralded by a female sister to the aspirant.

It was established that the coordinator of Emvuluanza Campaign team Doled out money to stakeholders of the party at the various electoral wards but the money did not get to the target.

Universal Reporters learnt that one of the intermediaries diverted the money given to him to his personal use as he was forced to present some of those that were given the morning.

The presentation of the delegates before the Inspector Crime was the last straw that broke the camels back as they were given an ultimatum to make a refund.

Other aspirants that resorted to collecting back their money also include Hon. Yakubu Dodo, current member House of Assembly who vied for the seat of member Federal House of Assembly representing Awe, Doma, Keane Federal Constituency.

Only time shall tell as to whether delegates would learn lesson being that it is the second time APC are suffering from such treatment, it would be recalled that some defaulted delegates in 2015 were beaten to stupor while others were forced by Soldiers to refund money given to them by a female contestant.
