Resettlement Day In Langtang South Turns Violent, Disrupted By Hon Bulus Vincent As He Allegedly Assaults Hon Ubandoma Laven (See Video Inside)

The 73th  anniversary celebration of  Resettlement in  Langtang South Local Government Council of Plateau State on Saturday turned bloody as the chairman Hon. Bulus Venmark Vincent assaulted, Hon. Ubandoma Laven Joshua led to the disruption of the celebration halfway.

The Resettlement Day ,was organized and hosted in Sabon-Gida the usual venue of the annual day celebration of the Taroks , and other ethnic nationality residents in Langtang South LGA.

Lanchang Timpil an eyewitness told our correspondent that the event was about to kick start when the embattled Chairman of Langtang North LGA,Hon.Dr Joshua Ubandoma Laven was invited to the podium to address the crowd after he was denied access to where dignitaries were seated.

However, as he advanced towards the podium to speak on the importance of the occasion to the entire Tarok speaking natives of North-Central zone of the Bantu extraction with the return of democracy.

This medium gathered that following the development, the Chairman Hon.Bulus Vincent blocked him from gaining entrance to address the gathering but chose to land him a heavy slap that sends stars of confusion.

The Embattled Chairman received one dirty blow on his face and the Hon . Bulus Vincent went up the podium and stood waiting to hear APC members hailing him, but the drama took another twist and instead, everyone started shouting PDP including the supporters of APC .

As if that game couldn’t end there the Langtang South chairman followed one of the youth with another slaps that threw the upheaval and tension amongst the crowd which lasted several hours before the situation was brought under control by security agencies .

It was alleged that the development did not go well with the Chairman of  Langtang South who was attacked.

Timpil alleged that the Chairman of Langtang South Hon Vincent Venman walked up to the immediate past chairman of Langtang North Hon Ubandoma Laven and slapped him.

” This created tension in the community as a free for all fight between two supporters groups, leading to so many people sustaining various degrees of injuries.

According to him, as I speak to you, so many people are injured, this sad development created tension in the whole Langtang South amongst those injured is the Chairman of Langtang South Hon Vincent Bulus Venmark and he is currently receiving treatment at home, he added.

Another citizen of the state who called himself Titus said violent clashes among suspected political thugs have increased in Langtang South in recent weeks.

Efforts to reach both the Chairman of Langtang South Hon Vincent Bulus Venmark and the immediate past chairman of Langtang North Hon Ubandoma Laven before sending this report were abortive as both phones were switched off.

Several persons sustained injuries on Saturday evening at  Sabon Gida community in Langtang South local government council of Plateau state during the resettlement day celebration when a free for all fight between youths broke out.

Our correspondent gathered that the free for all fight started when the immediate past chairman of Langtang North Hon Ubandoma Laven who is a member of the PDP  stormed the venue of the occasion and was called upon by the Master of ceremony to come to the high table.
