Tever Ahinde, The National Youth leader of the All Progressives Congress has slammed the People’s Democratic Party for distracting APC Governors with impeachment plot instead of the party to focus on nagging national issues like insurgency, kidnapping and other social vices.
He called on the PDP to ray her flashlight on national scorching issues that bedeviled the progress of the country as an alternative instead of diverting the nation to illegal impeachment plot.
The national Youth Leader stated this when youth in Nasarawa state shower their unflinching support to the embattled Governor of Nasarawa state,Umaru Tanko Al-Makura aftermath of the decision of the seven man panel vindicating the chief executive from accusation of gross misconduct leveled against him by the 20 PDP lawmakers.
Ahinde called on the PDP controlled Federal Government to go to sambisa forest and rescue chibok girls abducted by people suspected to be members of Boko Haram instead of instigating cynicism on performing Governors of the APC.
“ They should seek for ways on how to salvage those girls from the den of their captors instead of dragging feets on what is not issues based’’.
“Impeachment is a constitutional matter for that we called on Nasarawa state legislature to applied due processes in the impeachment of the state Governor, A Governor will only face impeachment if found wanting, All that is happening in the entire process was an illegality and impeachment will only take place through legal means’’.
Tever Ahinde full of enthusiasm bolstered that the inescapable Governor will have his way come 2015,He rated the current Governor as second to the most performing Governors in the country, appealing to Youth in the state to remain committed.
Also speaking the Nasarawa state Youth Leader,Abdulkarim Allah-nana condemn the involvement of the former minister of information,Labaran Maku,erstwhile Governor of the state,Aliyu Akwe Doma ,Solomon Ewuga in the last rally stage in support of what he described as illegality.
“I feel ashamed of myself with the composition of chieftain of the PDP supporting the impeachment of Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura our amiable Governor”.
The House should apply all constitutional requirements but not involving themselves in illegality, He chastises Maku for describing APC as a party that is synonymous to violence.
“Everything was in comatose before the current Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura took over the mantle of leadership through a popular vote, calling on Youth in the state to be law abiding citizens at all times”.
He further vow that any youth caught in connection with any disturbance will be handed over to the constituted authority for further action, Allah-nana however called on youth to bury their hatchet and work towards the development of Nasarawa state, He also appealed to
