The youths in Okigwe South Federal Constituency, under the umbrella body of Okigwe South Youth Forum for Advancement (OSYouthA), have taken their clamour for effective representation in the 2023 general election to God.
The youth body which organized a one-day prayer and fasting session for all its members across the 3 Local Government Areas in Okigwe South Federal Constituency, mandated their members to observe the prayers between the hour of 12 am to 4 pm on Wednesday in their different places of work.
Speaking to the press on the purpose of the prayer, Pastor Dan Amaechi, the
Spiritual Director of the group, from Umunakannu, Ehime Mbano, said that the youth have decided to go spiritual for God to touch the hearts of party faithful, delegates, and critical stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress Party (APC), to see the deliverable abilities in Chief Sir. Ikenna Chukwuocha, popularly known as White Lion, voted for him to secure the party’s ticket to fly the party’s flag in the contest in the House of Representatives seat for Okigwe South Federal Constituency.
The man of God said that the youth body decided to pinch their tent with the youthful aspirants because of his unequivocal love for the youths and the people of the federal constituency.
He pointed to the numerous projects, empowerment, and support which Chief Sir. Ikenna Chukwuocha alias White Lion has embarked upon in the past within the constituency without seeking any political position
He said if such a man is given the opportunity to represent the people of Okigwe South Federal Constituency in the green hollow chambers of the National Assembly, we will do more.
He therefore called on all those who may be instrumental in who gets the ticket to represent the party in Okigwe South House of Representatives Seat to ensure that While Lion secures the ticket.
Recalled that Chief Sir. Ikenna Chukwuocha (White Lion) is amongst a few people from Okigwe South Federal Constituency seeking the ticket of the All Progressives Congress Party to represent the party in the 2023 election.
