Dr. Silas Gyar, The rector of the Nasarawa state polytecnic ,Lafia has challenged the new crop of executive of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic to cooperate with the management of the institution for optimum result.
Gyar stated this during the inauguration ceremony of new executives; The rector affirmed that he will work side by side with the new executives to move the polytechnic to an enviable height.
He buttressed that ASUP would not potent any peril to the school management, Calling for synergy between the institution and the newly elected officials, The rector sued for the autonomy of the institution.
He added that absence of autonomy seriously hinders the development of the school
