A Concerned staff of the Isa Mustapha Agwai 1, Polytechnic Lafia has appealed to the Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule to as a matter of urgency probe the Rector .Dr. Justina Anjiode Kotso over the appointment of her kinsmen, friends, and relatives into strategic positions.
Some staff of the institution who pleaded anonymity revealed that three years in office she succeeded in appointing her kinsmen into four different directorates.
The Rector, who held from Wamba has transformed the school into personal property It was recently discovered that the Rector who held from Wamba Local Government appoints her son and brothers into key positions.
The beneficiaries are her biological son, Jesse Kotso Ende as head of ICT, the affected directorates are consultancy services, SIWES, and Student Affairs headed by Shamah Yakubu, Aminu Abdulhamid and Shamah Kpanja into key units that are ”The institution’s cash cow ‘despite the presence of qualified persons across the thirteen Local Governments of the State.
The aforementioned directorates or Units, surely are sources and the backbone of the Polytechnic in terms of Internally Generated Revenue, tongue continued to wag on why the embattled Rector favored only her brothers, friends, and relatives above other Local Governments.
Other staff described her behavior as a way tactically to favor whom she wants or like.
