The daughter of the Immediate past Executive Governor of Imo State, Senstor Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha was this morning attacked and her company’s marketing car snatched by Jasper Ndubaku led Recovery Committee.
According to Eye Witness report, the Team numbering over 15 menace looking men pounced on the driver and forcefully collected the car key and drove away, leaving the driver stranded, claiming that the car is a Government property.
All attempts by the driver to prove to them that the car is a private property of the Reach Fm Radio and TV Station, Owerri used for marketing fell on deaf ears as the Team was only interested in carring away the vehicle.
It’s worthy also to inform that the original and authentic documents of the vehicle has been presented but they are yet to release the Car meaning that there are more to that than mere Recovery as they claimed.
This has raised more eye brows why all these attacks by the government on a private business woman whose sin is nothing other than being the wife of the opposition Guber candidate in Imo State.
Few weeks ago, House of Freeda Shopping complex belonging to her was attacked, looted and vandalized under the pretence of recovering Government property.
Political pundits are wondering whether all these attacks on Mrs Uloma Uche Nwosu is to intimidate her abd force her to withdraw the 5.2 Billion Naira Suit she filed against the PDP Government of Imo State and the Jasper Ndubaku led Recovery Committee.
Before now, the Recovery Committee carted away her broken down vehicle from a mechanic workshop where it was parked for repair.
Not only that, the Team also communicated to her that her business establishments will be demolished, claiming wrong citing as the reason. For Reach FM and TV Building, they said that it will be demolished because it was built along the Road.
One wonders how a building sourrounded by other buildings including the Villa Garden Hotel belonging to an Mbaise businessman is the only one marked for Demolition.
Imolites have continued to condemn the act of Political Vendetta describing it as issue that should not be placed above good Governance.
Responding to the development, Imolites have continued to call on the Government of imo State under Emeka Ihedioha to do less in attracting distractions upon herself and concentrate on moving the State forward in terms of development.
It is of note to state that the present administration of PDP in Imo State through this Acts of political Vendetta has raised unnecessary Political Tension in the State, a move that has made potential investors to turn away from Imo State while those already in business are operating in fear on daily basis because of acts capable of causing breakdown of law and order.
This call for serious Attention of the Inspector General of Police to Imo State to forestall this.
