Provost College Of Agriculture, Lafia Decries Trespassing Of College By Herders, Neighbours

The Provost College of Agriculture, Lafia, Dr.Yahaya Maikeffi has appealed to the Government of Nasarawa to has matter of urgency come to the aid of the College by deploying forest guard to the institution to avoid future fire outbreak.

He disclosed this while feilding question with selected Journalists at his office, He said the deployment of forest guard would end the intermittent breakage of parameter fence by suspected herders and host communities.

The Provost explained that since after the erection of fence around the College, herders and host communities are those suspected to be destroying the fence.

According to him, “We are having some misunderstanding even before the building of the fence round the institution, the surrounding communities finds it difficult to go to other neighbouring communities, they have to go a long way not like before that they would pass through either hostels or classroom.
