As part of the effort to enhance productive of health sector, project cure a nongovernmental organization based in the United States of America (USA) has begun hospital assessment with a view to ensure that the 11 local government area of Gombe state benefit hospital facilities from project cure- USA.
The executive director project cure- USA Mr. Charles Irion made this known Thursday in Gombe saying that the exercise will last for one week.
He said the exercise was aimed at alleviating the suffering of the people for lack of adequate facilities in hospital.
According to him we are in Gombe to make need assignment to ensure that hospitals within the state are supported through project cure-USA
Gombe state governor Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya who was represented by his deputy Dr. Manasseh Jatau appreciated the need assessment that will be carry out in 11 local government area of the state by project cure-USA with the need to support the state with hospital facilities.
While appreciating their effort governor Yahaya assured that his administration will do everything possible to ensure that they work cordially with the project cure-USA team.
He said there is urgent need to give adequate attention to health sector because health is wealth; the coming of this administration on board has priority to facilitate the health sector he added.
