President Buhari Is A Disaster To Nigeria –Amb. Nanyah, ADP Chairman

The Chairman Action Democratic Party, (ADP) Ambassador Nanyah Andrew Daman has attributed the failure of the All Progressive Congress (APC) government to curtail the lingering herders/farmers as a great disaster to President Muhammadu Buhari reelection bid.

Nanyah Andrew Daman also accused Plateau state government of plotting to subject the opposition party to the untold hardship of embarking on a door to door electioneering campaign over lack of funds and a clear vision of moving the political campaign forward.

Amb Daman gave this countdown on the forthcoming Local Government election in Plateau state scheduled for February to journalists at the party Secretariat last Thursday in Jos.

He alleged the undemocratic and sharp practices by All Progressive Congress, APC, over the non-availability of funds for Local Governments election scheduled for 17th February 2018.

The ADP chairman said what happened recently in Kano state when President Muhammadu Buhari was on state visit was as a result of the rented crowd; the popularity he enjoyed 2015 has been dwindling by poor performance and lack of internal democracy.

He explained that the Plateau government has promised to conduct hitch free election and “we are fully prepared with 18 Councillorship candidates and chairmanship that were chosen by the people through free primaries.

According to him, we have a lot of challenges with the Plateau state independent Electoral Commission, PLASIEC, because the chairman and his commissioners took the matter personal on ADP but two local government areas candidates were all cleared in Kanam LGA and the Jos North LGA chairmanship candidate didn’t present the name of deputy Chairmanship yet PLASIEC cleared them all .

However, we view the entire exercise as personal victimization and plot to disenfranchise our candidate from contesting for chairmanship race across the 17 LGAs were they denied them forms to also frustrate them.

He pointed out that outside the Electoral law, the PLASIEC Chairman is now creating his own law by making everything humanly possible to discredit or disqualified ADP, we are the only weeping child which this regime now without the support of the PLASIEC.

President Buhari is a disaster, Nigeria didn’t only pray for change of this nature but true change, it is good and natural that the Senate and House of Representatives effect change on the 2010 electoral act to ensure proper arrangement and reversed from the Presidency to come last, so that while the Senate, House of Reps and Assemblies, other elections come first before rounding up with the presidential election.

He commended the speech of the former President as timely. Daman demanded that politicians should strive for themselves in other to deepen democracy better.

He advised President Buhari to stop promoting favoritism even as he said that kidnapping, hunger are on the increase under his watch, as he said Nigerians are suffering unhealthy tribal, religion appointments now.
