Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe had warned members of the distribution committee of Baba Buhari For All to present names and telephone numbers of all those that benefited from the palliative.
Akabe issued the warning during the flagging off 13 trailers of rice for onward distribution to widows and downtrodden in the state.
The Acting Governor explained that no civil servant or the affluent in the society be given a grain from the palliative.
“Those on salary should be exempted from the palliative”
The Acting Governor urged the committee to ensure that all the 147 electoral wards benefited from Baba Buhari For All gesture.
Dr. Akabe selected members of the cabinet saddle with the sharing of rice to remain upright in the discharge of the assignment given to them.
Hon. Abdulmumini Ari in his speech applauded the state Government for exhibiting maturity while comparing Nasarawa with other states of the Federation.
Aminu Jaji during an exclusive interview with Journalists shortly after the allocation of the 6000 50kg bags of rice declined comment when on the amount of the rice donated to the state.
